Canada's Treasures - UI Hi-Fi Prototype App

Role: UI/UX Designer
Product: Tablet app
Timeline: Nov - Dec 2021
Tools: Adobe XD, Photoshop
Goal
The goal for this project was to create an informational app (Canada’s Treasures) for the iPad, that’ll describe the ten provinces and three territories within Canada. Basic stats and locations for each province and territories were included, in order to help the overall learning process.
Brainstorming
The first phase was to use mind map technique to brainstorm ideas for the app. This helped define the types of contents that were included into the app. After the brainstorm process, I then created a site map for the iPad app, which included primary, secondary, tertiary, and external links.
Low Fidelity Prototype
Based on the brainstorming process, I drew low fidelity prototypes to help present my ideas for the app, as well as some UX UI properties that would be included.

Design System
Prior to creating the high fidelity prototype, I created a design system that includes all the typographies, colours, components, and elements that'll be used for the creation of the hi-fi prototype on Adobe XD. This ultimately helps produce a standardize design language, ensuring consistency throughout the app.

High Fidelity Prototype
After the above processes were complete, I then proceeded to create a Hi-Fi prototype based on the Lo-Fi prototype that I made previously through Adobe XD. A logo was also created for the app through Adobe Photoshop.
